Context. The existing site had broken down to the point where no one on the team could update it anymore, and the stakes were real: it needed to be ready ahead of possible acquisition talks, not just patched.
Process. The rebuild started from the logo and worked outward into a full design system, then brought in substantial new content directly from the business owner — real project write-ups, not placeholder copy — and reorganized services into something a visitor could actually navigate. Some areas carried real uncertainty at the outset, and the direction shifted more than once as development progressed.
Solution. What resulted is a proper site built to expand in any direction the business needs next, rather than one more patch on a system nobody trusted.
Outcome. There's room for further improvement in a few areas that were still being worked out during the build, but the site experience and day-to-day usability improved dramatically over what existed before.
