Overview
Yelu Marketing is a marketing agency in Chino, California, offering web design, digital marketing, social media, email, and videography for local businesses. John Hansen met Josaf of Yelu Marketing in late 2023 while working on a design system at Unis, and that connection led to a full redesign and rebuild of the agency’s website in Webflow.
Challenge
An agency’s own website does double duty. It explains the services, and it is also the first piece of work most prospective clients see. Yelu’s existing site had become cluttered and inconsistent, and it didn’t reflect the range or quality of what the team delivered.
The new site needed to present six distinct services, show real client work across web, video, and social, and still read as one coherent agency rather than a collection of separate offerings.
Approach
The redesign started from the content rather than a template. Each service was given a clear role in the page, and the order of sections was set to follow how a prospective client evaluates an agency: what it does, who it has worked with, how it approaches the work, and what that work looks like.
The site was built in Webflow on the Client-First framework, so the structure stays predictable as services and content change. It was also one of the first sites built from Aether’s own design system, which gave typography, spacing, and components a consistent foundation from the start.

The design
The redesigned site moves through a clear sequence:
- A focused opening. A video hero with a direct statement of what the agency does and two clear next steps.
- Proof up front. A row of client logos immediately after the hero, so credibility is established before the details.
- Services at a glance. Ads and analytics, SEO, web design and development, social media, email, and graphic design, each with a short, plain description.
- A visible method. The agency’s lead generation approach shown as four stages: attract, engage, convert, and retain.
- The work itself. Dedicated sections for web design, digital marketing, videography, social media, and email, with client websites and video reels shown in place.
- A simple close. A contact form and newsletter sign-up, kept short and easy to complete.
Visually, the redesign replaced competing styles with one restrained system: consistent type, generous spacing, and a single set of components reused across every section.
Outcome
The redesign gave Yelu Marketing a cleaner, more organized site that presents its full range of services as one coherent agency, with its client work shown alongside the services that produced it. The Client-First structure makes the site straightforward to extend as services change.
The collaboration also continued beyond the agency’s own site. Aether went on to design and build client websites through Yelu, including Mid-Valley Automatic Fire Systems, KB Tint, and The Green Olive Catering.
Yelu has since moved to a new website. The original redesign can be viewed on its Webflow staging site.
