Univision + Mobii

The mission was to enhance the Univision viewer’s experience by adding interactivity through the Mobii app with the programs they were already familiar with. The 2-year long national campaign partnership that aired for over two years on both ‘Despierta America’ and ‘A Primera Hora’ morning shows. I supported the efforts through graphic, marketing and UX/UI design as well as website development.

Gira y Gana

An interactive prize wheel segment that viewers could interact with live. They'd have a chance to win cash prizes, offers, and more when the Mobii app detects signals that were embedded in the content. The user could then use the content whenever convenient.

Jojo + Mobii Commercials

Jojo is a host for Univision who led some of our key marketing ads to help educate Univision fans on how and why to use the Mobii app. I worked my Creative Director and fellow designers to create content and micro-sites in support of this activity. Users would watch the commercials, interact with the app  which then led to actionable content.

Spin to Win Segment

While the animation and content teams were creating graphics, video, audio triggers and offers I worked with the design and social teams to ensure content was designed, delivered and supported through websites and app. I also performed quality assurance making certain content was designed to brand specs and legal requirements.

Social Media Ads

One of the many social media marketing campaigns informing viewers of the Despierta America "Shop While You Watch" feature using Mobii. Working with the content team the video team to created this ad and I designed marketings graphics and web collateral in support.

Measuring Results

Throughout the campaign data was collected at every step, analyzed used to make adjustments with the highest impact versus effort and prove product and marketing strategy. The business team organized and prepared all of this and would assign the design team to create visuals in support to best illustrate performance.

Reflection

General Takeaway

The campaign was sustained for a significant period of time (for over 2 years) and my attention was often required in myriad directions. As active campaigns began to add up, I took notice of design patterns starting to form and incorporated them with other campaigns. As a result, I started creating a basic visual system of similar relationships that I could then use as a basis and expand based on brand identity.
